Phase 1 of our design process begins with an initial client inquiry. The best way to inquire about a project is to either directly email us at anu@anukdesigns.com or fill out the Client Inquiry form on our website (which automatically goes to our email as well). Although it’s common to communicate on Instagram these days, a direct email will ensure that we receive your request and all our correspondence is in one place!

Upon reviewing the inquiry form, we send out an Investment Guide. This document is very important for potential clients to read and understand, as it explains the services we offer, the general design process, fee structures and other important information that helps us manage client expectations. We then schedule a complimentary 30 minute phone call to review the Investment Guide in more detail, answer any questions. and get a general understanding of whether AKD is a good fit for your project. It’s important to remember that we cannot give any estimates on cost or design fees during this time, as we have to see the space in person to determine the full scope of work.

The next step is to schedule an in-person consultation where we will walk through each of your desired space(s). This on-site meeting is a paid consultation that covers the time for the meeting (usually 60-90 minutes), as well as time to create a full proposal and estimate following our meeting.

Within a week of the in-person consult, we will email you a detailed proposal with exact scope of work and potential investment. If it seems like a good fit, we move on to signing the contract and begin our design journey together!
